It does not have an amplifier or speaker. It has been restored to like new condition and is ready to provide excellent high fidelity playback when attached to the magnetic phono input of your amplifier. The metal motorboard has been sanded and refinished in metallic gold that matches the original color, then clear coated for a high gloss. The brown bakelite case is in outstanding condition, free of any chips or cracks. Along with the case, the tonearm, turntable, spindle cap, and power switch have been cleaned, polished, and buffed to a like-new shine. The original brass accent ring really sets off this changer's appearance. Check the pictures... classic! The restoration includes new motor mounts, a new RCA phono plug, new rubber feet for the case, new wires to the motor, a new idler and resurfaced drive cam. The motor and all mechanical parts have been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted for flawless performance. The obsolete crystal pickup has been replaced with a new Stanton 500 V.3 magnetic stereo cartridge bridged for mono playback. This cartridge has a high quality diamond stylus good for 1000+ hours of play. I have modified the tonearm pivot assembly by replacing the pivot bushing with ball bearings for greatly reduced friction and improved tracking.  This modification allows the tracking force to be reduced while still insuring dependable tripping of the record change cycle. The result is great sound and gentle treatment of your records.  Load up to 15 of your favorites including stereo and enjoy watching this classic changer do its thing while providing better sound than could be imagined in 1950!
