Description
Interesting Antique Copper Mold / Mould. This small 2-1/4" tall mold features rounded and triangular patterns. The top has some slight denting due to age and use. The tin lining is still visible, the copper surface has a wonderful aged patina. We cannot find any hallmarks so are unsure of its origin. Along with this mould is what appears to be a weight formed to fit in the tip of the mold. We cannot tell if it is a copper weight or if it is lead, it is very tarnished. We didn't notice it until close examination of the piece. It took some forcing to get it dislodged. We can only guess that it is used to help release the contents of the mold when the jelling has firmed. The mould measures approx. 2-1/4" tall x 2-1/4" diameter at the widest. Winning bidder pays $7.00 Priority S&H w/ delivery confirm. Shipping within the continental U.S. only to Paypal confirmed address. Please email with question, thank you for looking!
