This is an amazing piece of telephone history.  This is a beautiful Stromberg Carlson Oak Wall Telephone.  It is in excellent cosmetic condition.  It has been made of solid oak construction and has its original finish.  It is nearly in mint condition.  Marked Stromberg Carlson telephone Mfg. Co. Rochester, NY U.S.A It measures approx. 21'' tall, 12'' deep and 10'' wide. The 12'' deep measurement is the full length including the platform that comes out of the front of the phone. The inside still has most of it's parts. I think there was a battery on the bottom, but that is no longer there. When you turn the crank, you hear the ringing of the bells. It is pretty awesome to see how far our phones have come when you look at this piece. This is a fantastic phone and will make the winner very happy they bid.
