Description
Superrare ultra huge Philips radio , Italian design. Please look to all 30 pictures! This is a Ultra rare to find PHILIPS radio, the made only one model like this ! The look has Italian influences, also technical lot of strange features. Great looking cabinet is in a Near Mint condition. Only a few light wearmarks due age , nothing serious . The use very nice and colorfull wood. It's the only Philips radio using a horn speaker inside. Radio works perfect on all the waves , all bad capasitors and tubes are replaceded, NEW Magic Eye ! The radio has 4 waves , FM , AM , SW and Long Wave. The sound systhem is VERY unusual and complex. * When pusching on the "FIDELITA" button the illumination of the centerscreen goes out and you can change the volume of the radio with the regular left knob. Also the left HQ sign is illuminated * Pusching on one of the three middle buttons will illuminated the frontscreen in green for "DOLCE" , mixed color for "MEZZOFORTE" and red for "FORTE" . Each color give more of less sound volume ,and you can not change the volume anymore from the regular knob but only with a knob on the backsite of the radio. When turning on the thumbwheels for Basses or Treble , the musicnotes on this screen will be more or less white/ black. * Pusching on the "PAROLE" button will shut off the basses so the voices will be heared much better. The radio is very heavy ! + 20 kg not packed ! Three speakers inside ( ONE Hornspeaker !) 10 tubes : ECC 85 / ECC 85 / ECH 81 / EF 89 / EF 85 / EABC 80 / EL 86 / EL 86 / EZ 81 / EM 80 . Dimensions : 74 cm x 42 cm x 32 cm or 29"x 16"1/2 x 12"1/2. Radio works on 110 and 220 volts If you like radio from this era , this one will be a must ! Philips made not many of this model and the are now very sought after by collectors. These where in that time the top of the line and very expensive, not for the average working class ! Therefore and because these are very rare to find I had to put a reserve on it of 900$ Please look to my other auctions for more of this ! Check out my other items! Due heavy weight of the radio, shipping will be expensive. This item can be send to : Belgium for :19.00 Euro Europe ( EU ) for : 39.00 Euro USA with Airmail for : 149.00$ ASIA with Airmail for : 298.00$ Due the Postal max weight regulations we can NOT sent this radio to : Israel &Taiwan Sorry for these high rates ! We always double boxed our items with lots of packing materials.( See our Feedback !) *** For PAYMENTS we prefare *** - Money transfer on Bankaccount. ** But we accept also ** - Bank Money Orders. - Cashier Cheques - PAY-PAL till 500.00$ Due multiples problems with fraudulant creditcards, I can no longer accept Pay Pal payments from more than 500.00$ from buyers with a low feedback . You can transfer the money on my bankaccount, if you have any bankcosts with this ,I will pay them for you !!! READ THIS BEFORE YOU BID PLEASE !
