This phone has had all of the contact points cleaned, Rotory points, and hang up points as well as Mic. and speaker contacts. The rotory shaft has been lubed and tested for good return . There are a few scratchs on the phone and are clear to see on the pictures, so please look closely. The orignal cable has been left connected and a modern jack with new cable connected to termanals so you could use ether line. I have used the Phone for a week with no problems, I love the ring ...But my young Wife hates retro ... So it's gota' go . No pops, fizzell and squeal sounds.. like the phones My parents had,and the numbers and letters are not worn off .
