Triquetra Blue Sport Metal Unisex Watch This is a unique custom Sport Metal Watch consisting of the Triquetra on a blue background ("triquetra blue" as opposed to some of our other triquetra products on a different colored background). The triquetra has its origins in Celtic history and blends through at least two religions. It was originally used to depict the three aspects of life -- physical, mental and spiritual or birth, death and rebirth -- in ancient Celtic belief. When early Christian missionaries began converting Celtic "pagans," they absorbed many of the regional rituals and symbols into Christian teachings. The triquetra maintained its more ancient meanings but also came to symbolize the Trinity -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- in Christianity. Many Christian churches will have the triquetra symbol in their stained glass windows or on other religious objects. The triquetra also symbolizes a trinity for modern Pagans and Wiccans, specifically the three aspects of the Divine Feminine as the Maiden, Mother and Crone. It retains its more ancient meaning of physical, mental and spiritual growth, and reflects the cycles of birth, death and rebirth. This symbol has become popularized by the television series "Charmed" and is one of the most popular Celtic symbols to be resurrected in modern times.Product Details This custom Sports Metal Watch comes as: Unisex silver-tone high quality watch.
