Description This astonishing brass charger measures an incredible 34 3/4 inches (just shy of 3 ft.) in diameter & is truly beautiful.  This piece has an amazing lustre & is exceptionally highly-detailed.  It protrudes from the wall 2 5/8 inches upon hanging, as it has a remarkable curve/bow to the design as well.  It weighes a whopping 5 lbs. and is composed entirely of brass.  Pictures truly cannot convey the size of this exceptional item and I have never one this large before now.   It was manufactured by Peerage of England (successor to Pearson Page).  This item dates to the 1940s and was made in Manchester, England.  The maker's mark on the hanger (on reverse) reads "Peerage England"  This specific mark was only used on original designs by this maker, starting in the recovery period immediately following WWII.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like additional photos of this item.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.  Created by eBay Blackthorne ver. 3.2.31.0 Place a Bid!
