If you have been looking for a working authentic pay phone from the late 60's or early 70's this is for you! What you will get is a working pay phone and 2 keys, one for the top and one for the bottom, It's a very secure lockup to keep of your stuff in. This would make a great gift for someone that you want to even with because when it rings it will scare the hell out of you! There is no way to sleep through it! (Bonus -  If the auction goes over $275.00 I will throw in the Bell System porcelain sign as a sincere gesture), It's also is authentic. The phone says it was made in Canada according to the casting stamp in the lower left hand corner of the front of the phone. I don't know anything else about it. However you can make phone calls with it with out speaking French or Canadian.   Yes it does make the ding ding sound when you deposit coins. (Not necessary to make the phone work). You can plug this phone into any standard phone jack like the one on the back of your fax or answering machine. I am starting the auction at $225.00 to dump the not so serious bidders or I call it chaff (Sorry, It is what it is - So why have a reserve) The phone will be available for local pick up in Batavia IL 60510 at no charge. Shipping will be at cost, Must be insured.
