Vintage Pewter Coffee pot, creamer and sugar dish Start Price USD 9.99 Current Price USD 17.00 Time Left - Bid Count 4 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, August 18, 2008 End Time Saturday, August 23, 2008 Location Michigan See more about 'Vintage Pewter Coffee pot, creamer and sugar dish' Description Have owned and displayed these items for 34 years and am now placing it in this auction with a low opening bid.   They have NEVER BEEN USED.  I never cleaned them and must admit that they are indeed in need of a good polishing/cleaning.  On the coffee pot and creamer, there are some minor scratches but none "dig" into the finish - they are surface marks only.  The underside of each piece is marked International Pewter.  The coffee pot also has the inscription  276  01.  The creamer also has a paper label which reads International Silver Company Made in USA".  Also included is a how to clean and care for your pewter brochure published by the company entitled "Living with Pewter".   The sugar dish  has some small dings and scratches that are more pronounced but not enough to detract from the beauty of the piece and its functionality.  The scratches are primarily in the center of the dish and were more than likely caused from the scraping of spoons against the surface over the years as sugar was scooped into the bowl of the spoon.  The sugar dish is marked American Pewter.
