Description
Up For Auction Western Electric 20-B Candlestick Antique Telephone This phone has been in our family for years, not sure who was the original owner.  I will describe as best as possible, but feel free to E-Mail with additonal questions and I will answer as best as possible. Will ship to most International destinations but must E-Mail for shipping cost.  Insurance required and all additional fees to international customer is their responsibility. INSURANCE INCLUDED IN POSTAGE AND HANDLING FEES.   On the Back of the Mouthpiece is the word:  PATENTED NOV. 17-91 NOV. 1-92  This is circular around the back. On the back of the Support bracket is says:   PATENTED    (next line)  AUG, 16   1904  (next line)  Sept. 13, 1904  (next line)  20-B The phone is in very good shape.  It was fitted many years ago to be a working phone.  That is why you see the 4 prong plug on the end of the second cord.  This cord is the original cord though. Cords and Mouthpiece:  The cord that is from the earpiece connected to the phone is frayed in a couple of places but it is only the outside cord that covers the interior two cords.  Inside cords look to be in perfect shape.  Even very clean.  Top of the mouthpiece has the two connector screws that attach the cords plus the hook to hold the little cord in place to help prevent the connecting cords from pulling out. Telephone Base:  This is a Nickle base phone.  The felt on the bottom is in good shape.  The photo has a couple of pieces of lint attached (sorry).  The green felt does have a few small wear spots on the edges, but basicly in very good shape.  No tears that would continue to fray.  The candlestick portion has a thumb screw near the bottom.  Mouthpiece:  All brackets to hold the mouthpiece in place a very tight.  No loose screws or damaged pieces.  The little wire that attaches from the back of the bracket and connects to the back of the mouthpiece is not frayed.  Questions are welcome and I will do my best to answer.  Please ask before bidding.  If you win the bid and would like to pay other than PayPal please E-Mail with money order or certified check details.  Thank you for looking.
