Description
Pictured is an early glass sided model A Zonophone. I could not find a serial number anywhere on the phonograph. This machine has the correct early ovular traveling arm and the correct support arm that is close to the center of the cabinet. It also has the correct turntable with the large screw to hold it in place. This machine has not been restored and is incomplete. It is missing the reproducer, horn, and horn cradle. The brake spring and pad are also missing. The case has a very good original finish (not as red as in the photograph) with only minor damage to one corner, see photograph. The mechanism is in running condition and the crank is original. The nickel plating on the Zonophone is in poor condition with pitting. Most of it will buff out with the exception of the traveling arm which will have to be filled before plating.  The shipping weight is 15 pounds.
