It has been refurbished and WORKS GREAT! It is ready to plug into any modern phone line. So not only do you get the look of the antique phone but it's a functional phone. I have shown many pictures so you can see the condition. There are a few marks on the black paint but overall, it is in wonderful condition. The pad on the bottom is nice and thick so it won't scratch your furniture. The mouthpiece can tilt up or down and on the bottom of the mouthpiece it is marked WESTERN ELECTRIC COMPANY, 329W. I do not see a date but I think it is from about the 1920's or before. I have carried on converstions with this phone so it is guaranteed to work. It measures 11 1/2" tall.
