Lucero. These great pieces of art were made in 1979 and 1985 by Abad Lucero, a well known craftsman who lives here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They are both in great condition and still have all original rosaries and accessories. In the statue with the cross, the cross actually comes out of the hand and can be placed back. The other statues bible comes in and out of its hand as well. These items are very important in the completion of the crafts and make it a very valuable piece of investment or collection. The photos I have are very detailed and if you can not see them up close let me know and I will send them to you by e mail. The two are hand autographed by the craftsman, Abad Lucero, with dates and location. I have a photo of the newspaper, with Bill Richardson, our Governor of New Mexico who is currently running for President of the United States, who has identified other great craftsmen and who has also identified Abad Lucero as one of the finest craftsmen in New Mexico. I do have other articles and documents on Abad Lucero himself and his recognition from Governor Bill Richardson.
